One year ago we were involved in a road accident. Our beautiful girl was killed. The events of that evening and the days and weeks that followed remain so raw and painful that I still can not straighten them out in my mind even twelve months on.
The effect of the pandemic and the confusion it brought to our situation along with the complications of being in Spain can’t be underestimated.
We still feel as lost in our grief now as we did just after the accident. We hope to be able to find the strength for a memorial for Ava in the future but at the moment it is still a case of small steps at a time.
We have created this page so that family, friends and the wider community can share their own stories, memories and pictures of our girl. One day we hope to be able find the strength to share some of our memories and thoughts too.
A heartfelt thank you to all those who have literally held us up over this impossibly hard time.
